The recorder is placed at the patient's chest with a strap. The sensors for oxygen saturation (finger clip sensor) and for respiration (airflow sensor) are connected to the recorder. The finger clip sensor is applied to a finger of the patient, preferably the index finger. The airflow sensor is placed under the nose of the patient. The feed line is draped over the ears and fixed under the chin. MS310 only: The sensors for the respiratory motions of the thorax are integrated in the two racks of the recorder plate. The snoring microphone is also integrated in the recorder plate. The abdomen sensor is connected to the recorder. It is worn with a strap around the abdomen at navel level or a bit below. The signals of the sensors are recorded in the recorder and stored. The data is transferred to the PC via a USB interface and analyzed and evaluated with the MS300 software.
